Welcome to Ngarrindjeri Ruwe, along in the Great Ocean Road in South Australia you'll find the prestine wilderness of the Coorong National Park. Situated approximately 200 kilometres southeast of Adelaide, this place is naturally landscape by wild untamed beaches, native flowers and bush tucker, sheltered bays and towering dunes plays host to an amazing array of migratory birds.
At the heart of the Coorong you will find the Coorong Wilderness Lodge a family owned and operated by the Trevorrow's family.
The Coorong Wilderness Lodge is approximately 25 km south of the town of Meningie, located on a beautiful peninsula called Hacks Point. The Lodges owners will guide you towards an understanding of the ways of the Coorong and will inform, entertain and challenge you. The Ngarrindjeri story and knowledge are passed down by generations of elders it means that you are standing in the place of its origins. The Coorong Wilderness Lodge offers you an opportunity to kayak along the Coorong waterways and walk across the rolling sand dunes to the Great Southern Ocean. Join our guided tour and we will intrudcue you to this remarkable place. The kayaks are also available for hire.

Our restaurant provides sumptuous meals using Indigenous flavours and fresh foods of the area. The most popular dish is the Coorong mullet, cook with butter and flour keeping the freshness and crispness of the skin of the fish. Due to the freshness of the fish that it will just melt in your mouth.The Coorong Wilderness Lodge also offers catering for small groups but booking is essentially important.
